There is no more critical space where proper lighting directly impacts health and life than in a surgical suite. This criticality can be seen in the attention given to lighting specifications and recommended practices from multiple stakeholders. Bringing it all together is a difficult task. This course will identify issues and concerns and provide clear direction regarding fixture feature selection and use. This is an intermediate course where prior knowledge of lighting metrics and fixture general terms are well understood. Some experience with lighting calculation software is helpful but not required.
